Site Launch: Chris Bezamat Photography
This morning I’m excited to announce the new and improved chrisbezamat.com. Designed by Chris himself, developed by Open End, and powered by Perch and Galleria, the site focuses on bringing his photography front and center with no distractions.  The fluid design means that photos are full-browser, regardless of screen or device.  Definitely take a look at his impressive body of work.

The Jackson Hole Airport has received a much-needed facelift courtesy of Open End Studios and Iconic Industries.  I think locals and visitors alike will find some really useful information if your travel plans route you through the most beautiful airport in the U.S.

Site Launch: Climbtheking.org 2010
Hey Jackson folks: We just finished redesigning and redeveloping climbtheking.org from the ground up for this year’s Climb the King event.  Climb the King is the summer-long fundraiser for the Jackson Hole Community Counseling Center — if you’re around this summer, they’d love your support! Site Launch: Snapped4U.com
I started work last week on Snapped4U.com — Diane Schwartz’s bid to connect amateur photographers with tourists who would be excited to have quality photos of themselves taken at memorable places.  Kind of like an on-mountain photographer at a ski resort, but expanded to an army of photographers at tourist spots all over the country. In this first iteration, Diane is looking to get...

Why You Should Use Google Apps for Your Small...

Dreamhost, ActionMailer, SMTP and Google Apps
I was banging my head for a little bit this morning trying to figure out why a Rails app I had running on Dreamhost wasn’t delivering emails (signup confirmations, contact requests, etc.) as expected.  A little bit of Googling later, I pieced the following together.  Here’s a quick recap, in case it saves any of you some time and confusion: (Note:  These instructions are for an app...

Grab a Perch
We just wrapped up a website project a few days ago that was similar to a lot of others: a small site with just a handful of pages, most of which containing content which would be quite handy for the client to be able to update themselves. A month ago I’d have recommended Bluebird, our own CMS written in Ruby on Rails which makes page editing super straight-forward for clients. So why not...
